On our last day in Bend, we took a short walk along the Deschutes River Trail in downtown Bend. The next day, we were up early for our 300 mile drive to Redding, CA during which we were treated to spectacular views of Mt. Shasta.

In Redding for two nights (one day), we took the opportunity to cycle the Sacramento River Trail, starting at the Sundial Bridge in Redding.
