Sailing in Rock Hall, Maryland

Hauling the Main Sheet

Up fairly early on Saturday morning for the 2+ hour drive to Rock Hall, Maryland, where we boarded the Crab Royale for a one and one-half hour sail on Chesapeake Bay: osprey nesting, a brood of mallards, gulls screaming, sun shining, blue skies and the smell of the sea!!

So-so lunch after the sail on the spacious deck of the Waterman's Crab House with expansive views of the Bay and perfectly situated for a sunset drink. Our guess is that half of the Waterman's clientele arrives by boat and the other half by other means of transportation.
