Sunday, September 21, Sunrise over the Navajo Reservation

Up at some ungodly hour this morning to photograph sunrise over the Navajo Reservation. Proved to be worth the effort.

Penne and Italian sausage with a luscious green salad for dinner. Still eating the Juliet tomatoes we picked from our back yard before leaving. They have retain both texture and flavor. Going to put in a second plant next year. Also enjoyed a Green River cantaloupe from Moab — a particularly sweet and flavorful cantaloupe with a deep-ridged rind.

Tomorrow we leave Utah for Mesa Verde Colorado.
